day seventeen

I totally overslept this morning, so I didn't make it to the gym.  I was asleep by 9:00 last night, a very early bedtime for me, I was just so exhausted.  I woke up at 5:00 am and thought I could sleep one more hour, I was sure I would wake up on my own, but the next thing I knew it was 8:00 am.  That is eleven hours of sleep!  I must have really needed it.  Next time I need to set my alarm and not count on my internal alarm, it must be off.

I had hoped to go to the gym later in the day but by the time I got home it was 4:30 and the evening routine just didn't allow for it.  I have to go first thing in the morning or my day gets away from me and I don't go.  Tomorrow is out too, but I will go on Thursday for sure.

I had a good day otherwise.

Breakfast was an Ole spinach wrap 1 point+ with egg substitute 0 points+, soy chorizo 2 points+, laughing cow swiss cheese wedge 1 point+, spinach and tomato 0 points+.

It was a very filling breakfast and kept me satisfied until just before lunch, which is what you want from breakfast.

Lunch was 1 cup of tomato soup for 2 points+, 2 slices of bread for 2 points+, hummus 1 point+, 1 slice of  swiss cheese 1 point+, lettuce, spinach, cucumber and tomato 0 points+ and 2 tangerines for 0 points+.

 It was a  lot of food and it was all I could do to eat all of my sandwich.

Dinner was baked penne pasta for 8 points for the serving and a green salad with 1 point+ of vinagerette dressing.

The pasta was SO good!  If I do say so myself ;).  And I kept saying that all through dinner, my family was sick of me by the time I was done eating.  I am not sure if I was just hungry, or if it was because I used name brand pasta instead of the store brand pasta.  I buy whatever is on sale or cheapest but I may have to spend the extra money and get the name brand from now on.

Time for stories and bed for the little ones so I can relax for a while.  Oh yeah, the hubby is home this week, he can do stories tonight and I can relax early :).
